July 24, 2002 Quad-Lock Building Systems Announces New ProductsSurrey, BC - Quad-Lock works hard to be a leader in developing Insulating Concrete Forms (ICFs) for residential and commercial construction. It is a continuous challenge to provide the industry with the most versatile ICF system on the market. In an ongoing effort to meet this goal, Quad-Lock is pleased to announce the addition of two new products.
Applications include, but are not limited to, a demand for higher energy savings, high temperature swings, very high or low mean temperatures, north walls and special applications like refrigeration buildings and swimming pools. Quad-Lock Plus will also make wall transitions easier, quicker and less expensive by eliminating the need to place two different tie sizes in the transition layer. Pricing is marginally higher than the regular Quad-Lock panel. The second product that has been added to the Quad-Lock Building System is the 12” tie. The new tie compliments Quad-Lock’s existing line of ties, which allow for construction of 4”, 6”, 8” and 10” concrete walls. The 12” tie was added as a result of customer requests for one-foot concrete walls. One-foot thick walls are often used for retainer and shelter walls. The new 12” tie also works well with Quad-Lock Plus, creating a 10” thick concrete wall when constructing with Quad-Lock Plus. Quad-Lock Building Systems Ltd. operates on three fundamental philosophies – a commitment to excellence, a commitment to training and a commitment to marketing. Their ongoing research and product development demonstrates a continued commitment to producing a building system that is innovative in design, testing and customer satisfaction.
